Sherry Linton-Massiah, M.S.

Communication & Partnerships Director

Mrs. Linton-Massiah plays a critical role in keeping the public and stakeholders well informed about Child First through the implementation of effective communication strategies. In addition, she supports the growth and development of Child First as an active participant in identifying and cultivating funding sources and supporting strategic planning efforts. She comes to Child First with more than fifteen years of experience in the early childhood field. Her professional experience includes her roles as the Project Director of the Governor’s Early Childhood Education Cabinet, the Early Care and Education Policy Analyst at the Connecticut Association for Human Services (CAHS) and most recently, she assumed a role at Xerox, in the Government Healthcare Solutions Division, as the Manager of Training, Appeals, and Quality Assurance. Her knowledge of early childhood, coupled with her state experience, gives Mrs. Linton-Massiah the breadth and depth to understand the complex early childhood landscape in our state. She holds a Master’s in Communication from Central Connecticut State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Trinity College.
